This painting represents a scene showing a group of rats in a small space where a work of art partially wrapped in a bullpack is placed on the left.
One of the rats took a seat on the packaging cord to get a better look at this painting. His fellows go about various occupations. One of them holds a one-euro coin between his paws, while another sniffs a two-euro coin. On a shelf shown in the upper part, we see an open laptop, which presents on the screen a spreadsheet with indications concerning this work entitled THE COURT OF RATS. Under the shelf, an active server connected to the universal network suggests that operations are automated. The partially revealed work presents the work described here and highlights this singular scene, where we notice labels indicating EXPERT and COACH, as well as an ordinary health mask. All these elements, as well as the composition of this canvas, highlight a perspective linked to the current symbolism of the network and the art market. The good nature of these little rodents, contrasting with their reputation as pests, brings an intriguing dimension to this offbeat production. However, the work was born from anger and emotion which took shape in this painting to express all my incomprehension of 'a significant liberal posture totally devoid of the slightest empathy. Devaluing through materiality a sector already particularly suffering, under the rubric of the democratization of art. Try to offer the possibility of acquiring a work, a work for 1 €… the price of the cap of the tube of blood red from the palette! I would be so delighted to be able to translate onto a canvas the expression of a €1 buyer to whom this value was attributed based on a reference to his work, in a context of democratization, pooling and sharing...
I have also not been able to free myself from stigmatizing the expert and the coach... two essential ingredients of a start-up which has the legitimate right not to be economically viable... Between the expert of everything and nothing about whom we don't know the whole course and the coach whose itinerary is so rich that he can afford to distribute instructions to everyone...
The artist, for his part, will have to develop a flawless BIO, an attractive APPROACH and to better translate his research manage posts and live videos on social networks...
