Artistic exploration with FOLIUM MAGAZINE
I am delighted to share with you a recent publication in the prestigious FOLIUM MAGAZINE in Argentina, which highlights my work as a contemporary figurative painter. In this captivating article, I present two of my flagship works: “Rainy Day” and “Childhood Memory”. Come discover how my exploration of spaces and human postures is translated through canvases vibrant with emotion.
A look at my studies and inspirations: Since my studies, I have immersed myself in the exploration of spaces and human postures. I found that architecture played an essential role in my artistic quest. The lines, shapes and textures of architecture become vectors of inspiration, nourishing my creativity and bringing my paintings to life.
Artistic expression: acrylic, oil, charcoal, black stone and blood: My artistic work unfolds through different techniques and materials. I mainly use acrylic and oil, which allow me to create strong contrasts and striking plays of light. To add an extra dimension to my paintings, I also explore charcoal, black stone and red chalk, which provide subtle nuances and unique visual depth.
Often square formats, where the character appropriates the space: The formats of my paintings are often square, offering a symmetry which gives an impression of balance and harmony. In my works, the character occupies the space integrally, as if it were an inherent and living part of the environment around it. Each painting thus becomes a captivating living space and invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a scene filled with emotions.
“ Rainy Day ” and “ Childhood Memory ”: Stories frozen on canvas: Among the paintings presented in the FOLIUM MAGAZINE article, “Rainy Day” and “Childhood Memory” capture intense and charged moments of 'emotion. In “Rainy Day”, the viewer is immersed in a melancholic atmosphere where the raindrops reveal a palette of vibrant colors. As for “Childhood Memory,” it evokes a gentle nostalgia, with warm tones and a composition carefully arranged to evoke deep resonance.
